Traffic and Parking around Park Primary School

I have been talking and working with residents, parents, school staff and Councillors about parking issues around the local roads and road safety & traffic is a real concern. I have been involved with local Councillors, County offices, and the School to help resolve some issues. This is an ongoing issue, and I am working with all parties to find some resolutions.

A Change.org campaign started by parents is here to ask for the implementation of a 20mph zone at around drop off and collection times.

The County Council has a full set of information on implementing 20mph speed watch areas. The Parish Council Highways committee can bid for the Local Highways improvements scheme funding. This could be a scheme that is submitted, any support for this sort of project should be sent to the Parish Clerk or any local Parish Councillor to bring it up when these are being reviewed for submission.
